4.3 How to share handouts with your patients (Circles)

Circles are used for file sharing. Circles allow practitioners to share groups of handouts with groups of patients.

Before you can add a file to a circle, you must make sure you have already uploaded that file from your computer into your own Documents Tab. (See Help File 4.1)

Using Circles makes it easier to assign large amounts of useful files to share with patients and add patients to circles that already have large amounts of information. Imagine a circle with a bunch of patients/files, where each patient has access to the info/data inside. Circles give patients access to groups of handouts through the Patient Portal. Patients within a circle cannot see each other, only the shared files.

Step 1: Create Circles.

  • In your profile, go to Circle Management.
  • At the top of the page click on Create New Circle.
