In order to differentiate what is a product that is being sold and what is a service when creating an invoice for a patient.
- In the Main Navigation Bar on the left-hand go to Dispensary and Billing -> Products -> Categories.
- On the right, there is a “+” to add a new category i.e: Labs, products, services etc. Once you create a new category click save.
- Now if you go to your Product lists, you will see on top the product name beside there is a drop down for “Category Name” – here you can give whichever category reflects the specific product, i.e: Multivitamins for children – category: prescriptions.
